This Snake Does Something No Human Should Have To Witness

Common Lancehead

This slithering guy right here is one of the most common and populous of its species which is pit vipers. Common Lancehead would literally go to any height to catch its prey. It is an excellent swimmer but wouldn’t think twice to climb up a tree if it needs to monitor its lunch from up there. They are also easily agitated, but luckily, their main diet included mammals and birds. They also like frogs and enjoy the crunchiness of lizards and tarantulas. Creepy right? Workers in farm plantations get bitten most by these snakes since they like to hunt for rodents. The common lancehead is also called Bothrox Atrops, and its venom can result in symptoms such as kidney failure and hypertension. In worst cases,  a bite can lead to disability and even death. Looking at the bright side, common lancehead isn’t that bad. It’s one of those medically significant snakes we mentioned earlier.
