This Snake Does Something No Human Should Have To Witness

Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake

The absence of a light vertical line in the front of the nostrils distinguishes the western diamondback from the eastern diamondback. Size isn’t a big deal. However, the eastern diamondback is slightly bigger than the western diamondback in the higher reaches. The eastern diamondback rattlesnakes are the largest species of rattlesnakes and one of the heaviest known venomous snakes. So now we know it’s big, what else? The venom from its bite can give a victim a heart attack, but first, they bleed from the bitten spot; alongside bleeding from the mouth, they also suffer hypotension and severe pain. The mortality rate from this venom is around 30%, and this low rate is a result of the wide availability of its anti-venom throughout the regions where they are mostly found. Anyway, if you still decide to go rattlesnake hunting, make sure you’re wearing snake boots.
