Terminator 2 is a sequel to the 1984 movie, The Terminator, and it is considered one of the best sequels ever made.
The Terminator 2: Judgement Day continues to be a trendsetter as the visual effects in this movie birthed a breakthrough and influenced culture in the use of computer-generated images in films. Subsequently, more sequels to the movie were released, and they never fell below standard. After the release of Terminator 2 in July 1991 in the US, it grossed $520.9 million at the box office. Terminator 2 was also re-released in 3D 4K quality in 2017 for AMC and Cineplex cinemas and internationally, where it debuted at number one on its opening weekend in the UK.
