The Revenant
This 2015 epic drama is an adaptation of the book written by Mike Punke in 2002 with the same title. The revenant was a blockbuster critically acclaimed for its performances, especially the lead roles of Leonardo Di Caprio and Tom Hardy.
With a chunk of positive reviews and an award-winning streak of BAFTA, Golden Globe, and Academy awards, this movie grosses $533 million worldwide. Although the movie got some negative reviews for its runtime, it truly stood the ‘test of time’ as it did really well in and out of the box office.
