Deserted Government Buildings
Government buildings in most 21st-century countries, even underdeveloped ones, are usually bustling with workers on weekdays until you see North Korea. Thanks to this photo, we know what it feels like around government offices during working hours. Not only are there few cars scattered around, but fewer people are loitering around as well. Are we missing something? Of course, how could we forget the giant paintings of the Kim Jong dynasty’s two core leaders, which are almost as large as the building itself? Okay, maybe not that big, but the word on the street is that workers literally worship the paintings every day. Creepy.
