Adopt a cat
She chose one of the oldest cats named Tabby. She wanted to give him a good home to spend the rest of his life. The first two months with Tabby went very well. After a while, Cindy began to allow Tabby to hang out outside from time to time, especially since the shelter had told her that this is what he liked the most. Cindy had fears, certainly, but she was not at all prepared for what happened!
As usual, Tabby came home in the evening and Cindy prepared her food. However, as she brought him her bowl, she realized that something was different about Tabby. Cindy hadn’t put tabby on a necklace, and yet that night he was wearing one. Who had put a collar on his cat? But it wasn’t even the strangest thing…
A small bag
The necklace, however, was not the strangest thing. Attached to the necklace was a small bag. Cindy took off the bag and put down the bowl with her food in front of Tabby, she felt that this is what the cat was waiting for. Cindy wondered again who had put the collar and the small pouch on her cat. She opened the little bag and discovered something even more surprising!
The pouch was filled with dollar bills! Cindy counted them for the first time, in shock, and then counted them again. Wasn’t she hallucinating? Had she counted well? Because all together, these notes represented a good amount of money. Why would someone tie a pouch to their cat’s neck and fill it with money? Cindy had far too many questions going through her head.
