To cross this bridge safe and sound, you have to stoop like a monkey, thus, the name; Monkey Bridge. Vietnam’s Monkey Bridges are reserved for agile and courageous people – obviously! Locals are so accustomed, they can cross easily without flinching but beware to read the manual if you’re new. This bridge is made up of a single bamboo log, with a river lying beneath, along with a log serving as a handrail for clinging to while crossing.
