4/15. Be self-guided
I know that this travel tip is quite ironic since I did a whole article on apps every traveler must have so that you’re well guided, but that’s not what I mean here. By all means don’t completely ignore the guidance of guide provider but don’t let it completely influence your experience. It’s okay to try to new things, visit exotic places and meet exciting new people but don’t do it because everyone is doing it or because a certain place has a 5-star rating. Remember that what rocks someone else’s ship may sink yours. Sit down and evaluate every guide and suggestion and pick the activity or place that will give you the best experience based on what your inner animal yearns for – be self-guided!
