American Hustle: The Rolex that came too early
If you own a timepiece like Rolex, you likely wouldn’t trade its uniqueness for anything else and wear it all the time, even on set! Louis C.K played the role of Stoddard Thorsen in the huge movie Cheat, and he was wearing a Rolex wristwatch in a scene.
Although we loved many things about this successful movie, we have to say that this was an avoidable error. The Rolex seen on Louis is modern and sleek and was only designed in 2010, but the movie’s setting was in the 70s.
