Julius Ceasar: Too many bullet bras
In 1941, the first bullet bra hit the market. Some women loved it, and over time, as movie stars wore it, the bra became more popular as everyone wanted to be like the celebrities in all of their glory. It was named ‘bullet bra’ since it came out around wartime.
These bullet bras were truly the rage in the 1950s, and so we think the costumier on the set of Julius Caesar couldn’t get enough of it. Most women cast in the movie wore bullet bra’s even though the movie’s setting was 44 BC, and the bra was still so far from even coming into existence. This bra choice has a long-distance relationship with time accuracy, we must say.
