Saving Private Ryan: Black Boots
Steven Spielberg once again treats us to another iconic film work. This movie was focused on Captain Miller, played by Tom Hanks, finding a missing Seargent, Private Ryan, played by Matt Damon. We were too engrossed with the captivating storyline but trust us not to miss this error that was so obvious in most parts of the movie.
Some of the soldiers are seen wearing black boots. However, this movie depicts world war II, and all soldiers in WWII used brown boots. The Army was only issued black leather for boots in the 1950s.
