She walked to his table and exchanged pleasantries with his still stunned colleagues. Then she turned to Rob and requested the extra seat next to him. She apologized for all that had happened and asked for a chance to make it up to him. She wanted him back. He was what she needed, she just didn’t realize it at the time. He couldn’t tell her no to her face, she had too much power over him. Before he knew it he had set up a dinner date for later that night. She had won him over.
