A blast from the past
The voice on the phone said ‘hi can I sit here?’ He froze. He knew who it was. How could she? What did she want? It’s been two years and she didn’t bother to see how he was doing. He didn’t need her now. She said she was in his city and wanted to see him. She had made a terrible mistake and had let a good thing go. He wasn’t having any of it. She broke his heart. He was done.
