This Snake Does Something No Human Should Have To Witness

Black Mamba

Black mamba holds the trophy for the snake with the fastest killing venom in the world. Whuut!? Yes. In as little as 15 minutes, an untreated bite from this snake’s venom can cause death. They live both on the ground and trees, and venom isn’t the only fast thing about these reptiles; even its slither is incredibly fast with a speed of up to 12.5 miles per hour.

Interestingly, black mambas who possess such a lethal venom will do anything to avoid a confrontation. Still, when the attacker persists, the snakes lift their head with more than half of their body off the ground, spread their neck-flap, it may choose to hiss or not and then strike with not just one bite but can repeatedly makeover ten bites at one go, and each bite is venomous. In a matter of minutes, the snake’s bite can make one lose consciousness. Black mambas are overly generous with their poison, and even though it’s called Black mamba, the snake isn’t black. The ‘black’ attached to its name comes from the colour of the inside of its mouth, which is rare.  In summary, do not corner a black mamba!
