This Snake Does Something No Human Should Have To Witness

Common Death Adder

This big snake is a master of camouflage. Its brownish red bands and stripes make it easy to hide under loose litter leaf and debris, and they are native to Australia. Although, these species are threatened in their range due to the invasion of cane toads. Cane toads are poisonous and giant. They eat your common death adders and the big common death adders that eat them die due to poison on the toad’s skin gland. Our hearts go out to these dear slithering ones. More reasons why they are dear to our hearts, they are not troublesome and would rather remain in the disguise their camouflage provides for them rather than come out for a confrontation. However, the two most vital things you should note about this snake is that it is the fastest striking venomous snake in the whole of Australia, and its bite can lead to the death of a victim within 6 hours or less. Be warned!
